This is a semi-biographical tale of love, lust, seduction, dominance and submission. It concerns two upscale professional people who met, fell in love and were in a relationship for over seven years. Matt introduced Laura to mild SM fantasy play during their relationship. Matt became bored and felt that Laura wasn't supportive enough of his career. She was too wrapped up in her own. When Matt broke up with Laura, she was devastated and heart-broken. Weeks and months went by as Laura pleaded for Matt to take her back. Matt refused. Through her many phone calls and letters she would say, "I really miss you. I've gone out on dates but none of these men are you!"
Then one day, Matt received a letter from Laura that would change his life. Upon first glance, it appeared to be like the other letters she had sent - asking for Matt to take her back, offering to cook dinner for him, etc. When he came to the third paragraph, it read, ''I'm willing to do anything to get you back, including being your SS." SS was code for Sex Slave.
So began one woman's odyssey into the world of willing psychological and sexual submission to a man she loved and wanted desperately to please. Over the next several months, she would receive many opportunities to please him and a select group of others.
This story, although partially fictionalized, explores the powerful feelings and emotions of two real people who have loved and been lovers. It is a story of a man who has explored, developed and refined his role of Master through various encounters and relationships with women through his adult life.
It is also the story of second chances. How many of us get a second chance to pursue perhaps the one great relationship that got away from us. How many people get a second chance to not only pursue that great love, but enjoy an extraordinary and unbelievably exciting and ultimately fulfilling sex life. The story is about hot sex not true love. The character of Matt is a egotistical narcissist who cares nothing for Laura but only for his own sexual interests and perverse need to control women. That is not love but someone taking advantage of a woman who may have loved him or more likely was infatuated with him. That sounds like a lot of men but he is doing it under the guise of a BDSM lifestyle.I have met the man who claims to be the author (not his real name by the way) and spent some time with him in his BDSM world and actually he was my first Master. And yes he claimed this story is true. Speaking from experience I can understand how Laura felt about him but she like I were simply numbers in his book ... and yes he does keep a book. We so quickly look for escapes and want to believe that good things come out of bad and perverse relationships but reality is they rarely do. Appreciate this story for the entertainment it gives but be careful about romantizing a story, whether true or not, that is damaging and harmful to women.

I couldn't stop reading and I was upset cause I have to wait for thebook to see what Laura choose. I don't I could ever go aS far as Laura is willing go....
what i've read so far was enthralling. i can't wait for the next chapter!!
I would recommend this to any sub that is finding her way in the lifestyle.
The writing was very real.
I thoroughly enjoyed this short story. It is very erotic and arousing, and kept me wanting more. I am looking forward to the continuation of their story.
This was a great, steamy and hot story. Once I began reading it, I could not put it down (I read it in one sitting. And I'm sure you will to). If sexual submission interests you at all, then this is a must read book for you. But its just not about sex, the author does a wonderful job at telling a story along with sending a message. Can you figure out what that message is?
The only negative thing I can say about this book is that it was too short, it left me wanting MORE!

I think the premise was a good one....i think the characters motivations were well defined and the sex scene was very hot...i read a lot of erotica and in my very well read opinion this story was unfinished...the author have not resolved Laura and Matt the story has Matt offering Laura to drink from vial one or vial two so essential she is Alice and she is about to go down a rabbit hole into the sexually submissive world that Matt wants to take her to. We the readers can fantasize about what choice she made...but that is not i believe the point of erotica...you are supposed to make the reader wet or hard possibly both...this story left me intrigued for sure but not itching to get myself off in the restroom. Again this is just my opinion and i understand people have given it a 5 star rating people also like that 50 Shades book when Selena Kitt and Maya Banks stuff is way hotter and more sensual...i have been a serious serious reader and collector of erotica for 20 plus years i have some knowledge. My first erotic novel i read when i was 14 years old i stole a copy of my aunts Autobiography of a Flea.
